Known limitations
- **No guessing at DSH's private class names.** The density sliders act on type scale, line height, and semantic selectors like `.markdown`. For fine-grained control of a specific component, use the element picker — that is the path designed for it. - **The token panel covers the alias layer.** Overriding `--dsw-alias-*` (or the raw `--dsw-static-*` palette) replaces the shipped value but does not recompute derived tokens such as shadows and elevations. - **Picking hides the settings modal and only that.** The layer is resolved from the plugin's own DOM position by ARIA contract (`role="dialog"`), never by class name, then climbed along the ancestors that belong solely to the modal. If a future DSH build renders the panel without `role="dialog"`, the plugin degrades to "not hidden" rather than erroring — picking still works, you just close the panel manually first.
